Question about Christen Eagle I
Hi,
I'm building a Christen Eagle, the same like the picture
I included.
I would like to build it as realistic as possible...
That's why I have a question that so far nobody could answer for me.
I hope you can help my please.
I'm not sure about making the circulair cutout at the trailing edge of the
top wing. The picture doesn't show this cutout also.
Is this cutout originaly present at the Christen Eagle I, or is it only on the
Eagle II because of the larger canopy?
I hope someone would like to anwser my question.
Thanks,
Arne Kruschat.

RE: Question about Christen Eagle I
You have answered your own question my friend.
The cut out is to allow the canopy to open on the Christen Eagle II
Christen Eagle I canopy is shorter and moved farther to the rear
Is this a kit ,or are You scratch building??
Chris.

RE: Question about Christen Eagle I
Hi Chris,
Thanks for your response!
Ok, I will leave the wing like it is now, without cutout.
Chris does this mean the Eagle 1's you see with this cutout (models)
aren't like the original?
I'm asking you because I saw some with this cutout...
The Eagle I'm building is a kit, German made. It's exactly the same
as the picture.
A lot of fibreglass parts of a perfect quality, the wings and stab are
sheeted foam. I planned a 3W-85QS for it.
Thanks,
Arne.
