Oxygene and Akuma + seems to be very similar, if not the same, model.

Hi,
With containment, I haven't been able to fly yet.
It is an evolution of my Elixir, of which I am not worried.
I'll keep you posted when it has flown.

In fact, both models look extremely similar. There are only very slight differences. The basic interpretation seems very similar.

But I think both designs are really great.

I just received my "Oxygen" from Aerobertics --

Should I set the Tail at "0" degrees and wing also at "0" degrees" Incidence?

Usually 0° stab and 0.5-1.0° wing

I would say normally wing 0.5 - 0.7 degrees positive, stab @ zero.
​​​​​​Motor 0.5 - 2.0 degrees negative depending on plane and preferences.

If plane is on the heavy side and/or wing area is small maybe 1.0 degree is needed.

My current setup is stab at 0°, wing at 0,8°.
For the datum line, the canopy is exactly at -3°.

Hello,
I have a question about the center of gravity/ C.G. for the Super Oxygen
There are very different informations:

Oxygen : 270 mm
Website F3a unlimited and Aerobertics for the Super Oxygen: 274 mm
Website Hui Yang for the Super Oxygen: 320 mm !

These are already very big differences between the information of the website of Hui Yang and the others.
Which one is the right, does anybody knows the right CG?

Hello,
I use a C.G. around 320mm, which is 36%.
You can start at 320mm and then adjust later by doing flight tests.

thank you for the quick answer, thats how I try it.

Are the other settinges for the Super Oxygen unchanged to the former Oxygen?
stab at 0°, wing at 0,8°, Adverrun contra at 0°.
Did I measure correct, the fuselage front ist – 1 °.

Hello,
Yes, stab 0°, wing 0,7 to 0,8° and adverrun at 0°.
For down thrust, noise is -1°, I put a little more. Around -2°.

Is the downthrust mentioned above relative to the stab or the thrustlne of the airframe...??

Incidences and thrust angles are all relative to the datum line of the aircraft. If you don't know where the datum line is, set up the plane on the bench with the wings at whatever the incidence is. 0 degrees is then your datum for thrust angle.

Am I correct in saying that when the gentleman above says Adverun at 0 deg he means relative to the nose ring ...

Not really sure what that means, the nose ring is usually set to the down thrust angle.

Ok let me ask this in a different way...
If the airframe has a build in down thrust of negative one degree relative to the theoretical thrust line and the wing is set at positive .8 degrees relative to this line....does the airframe now have a down thrust of 1.8 degrees or is it still 1.0 degrees .

Everything is relative to the datum/thrust line.

Ask yourself this. Is the wing incidence the datum line?
