Whew, I thought it was a gonner when you flew it behind that big tree!

Another nice flight and perfectly running Saito.

I love these laser cut kits, I turned the fuse upside down to test mount the main gear and discovered that the four corners of the upper wing mount all touch the work surface. There is absolutely no hint of diagonal rocking. The Saito FA 40-a can fly smooth and easy.

Thanks Mike, I have the FA 40-a chucked up in the PSP with the Xoar 12x5 Scimitar, in this test an FA 40-a turned and APC 12x6 @ 9,500. If it can turn the scimitar near to that I'll be a happy camper. It the test the reviewer used 15% fuel with 20% full synthetic and an OS-f plug.. I'll be using WildCat 10% with 28% full synthetic, a Glo-Devil 4c Special and a 40 sized Turbo-Header.. https://sceptreflight.com/Model%20En...%20FA-40a.html

My beloved World Models Super Frontier Senior pictured here during the week making another appearance at the club flying field and as always flew beautifully with the help of a trusty old Saito 72.

Very clean graphics, easy to like. How well do the ailerons work? What is the total dihedral!

Thanks . I've just completcompletely recovered the fuselage and tail section in Oracover White and added a few stripes. The wing covering is still in tact so I'm letting it be for now. I have the plane over 12 years.

Thanks Jesse. I'm pleased with the way that it turned out. Im not sure what the total dihedral is to be honest but the ailerons work really well.

Was curious why you asked this question. At first I thought maybe you thought the plane may have needed some aileron differential but upon a second viewing the plane seems to track great in corners, no tendency to nose out on turns, even with what appears to be a heathly dose of dihedral. It looks like approx 4" total dihedral, 2" per side? That wouldn't be a lot for a senior. Flies great whatever it is. The kadet seniors flown by fellow club members always turned better with a little differential mixed in. Just saying.
