I recently purchased a full gas conversion for one of my ST 60cc twin engines which included a 2 spark ignition , gas carb w/mount , (2) plugs ,sensor ring and pick-up for $245+ tax & shipping . A single would be less and if you're sticking with glow fuel it will save even a little more because no carb needed. I plan on running it on glow with spark first and compare it to gas. I'm curious about the power and temp. difference,

I bought it from CH Ignitions. Call Adrian , and he can quote you a price then once you have the price go to repair and service add $1.00 to your cart and if his quote was $150 (example) put 150 as the quantity to equal $1.00 x 150=$150

Has anyone ran a G.40RR (Rat Racer) like this one. I bought this NIB a year or so ago for my collection.

I'm sure this question has been asked before, but I have a couple gallons of the Special Big Tigre fuel and wanted to know the blend mixture it contains. The label is worn off so I can't tell what mixture it is. Any help? Thanks, John.

The "RR" means rear rotor, not Rat Race ( which was a control-line racing event).

Control-line was dominate in the hobby at that time. Rat Race was the top racing event, so the use of that term on the engine was to aid the sales figures. Chinn was using the manufacturers terminology for I.D. purposes. As far as the race rules, the max engine size was .36 and a crankshaft swap with a Supertigre .29 did the trick.

Race engine timing, particularly the exhaust timing, does not offer very good idle and mid-range performance. Still, a fast Tiger is a great experience! If you ever get a chance to own a Supertigre "X" series engine, go for it. They are amazing.

Does anyone still use the Supertiger 3000? I haven't seen to many of those around anymore. Just wondering if there is still interest in them.

I still have one. May possibly replace it with a ,35cc gasser if I decide to ever get that bird back in the air. I think that would actually give me more power. Plus a lot cheaper to operate.
I have other projects in line first and they will suck up my hobby money first

The big Super Tigres are often converted to gasoline. They run very well too
