Default T14SG Version 9 update has 4 versions?

I opened the Version 9 update folder to discover versions 9.0, 9.0A, 9.0B, and 9.0C.
Which should I copy to the SD card?
Thanks!
:-)

9.0is the correct version. Please follow the update directions. You do not open a folder to select the version. You do that when you download the update.

Thanks, Bill ... I've already gone over that pdf and have done firmware updates before.
In this case, when you extract the downloaded zip file, you get a file folder named "14sg_fx22_v9".
The pdf instructions call for running the application "T14sgUpdate.exe".
Well... there are FOUR zip files within the file folder, each with the executable "T14sgUpdate.exe".
Is it necessary to run all four updates (9.0, 9.0A, 9.0B and 9.0C) or will one do the trick?.
:-/

Sorry, I see your confusion now. I've asked the service folks about this. I'll get back to you ASAP.

Here is what I was told:Those are language packs, from what I’ve been told 9.0/A should be the same, but we do offer the other language options
I think A has English, Spanish, French for the US/Mexico/canada customers)
B should be Asian (Chinese, Japanese, etc.
C should be for Europe (german,Spanish,French)
I could be out of order on those but just to be accurate I would only recommend using 9.0 or 9.0/A.

No. The 14SG cannot do TFHSS because it requires a hardware change, not software. It does FASST and FASSTest only.

PJ,
You are a lot sharper on the PC than I !
I have not spent 4 hours trying to update my 14SG to 9,0 with zero luck!
I am not computer illerate but the Futaba PDF instructions are poor. When I download and then unzip the file into a folder I do not even see an .exe file. Plus I keep getting an error message that my new, empty, and formatted 16GB card does not have enough memory?
Guess I need a sharp 12 year wiz to help me out! About ready to forget the whole idea which was to update my 14SG to 9.0, save the models to the card, and then download them into
my new/used Futaba 16IZ. I have no idea why Futaba makes things so complicated. A simple plug in patch cord to download the file would make life so much easier.

for a futaba update.
expand the information in the ziped update file for your system to the card

install the card into the tx
follow the procedure to power on the tx outlined in the pdf instructions

the tx reads the information in the update folder and does what needs to be done.

some tx use an exe file, fg12
some, 18sz, do not.
your 14sg, i do not know which camp it is in

The V 9.0 file set is too large for the card because the card is only being formatted to 2 gb by the 14SG. Even if you try to copy them by opening the ZIP file and copying the compressed file set, the card formatted size is too small.

Update: I contacted Support by Email.
1. Format the card in the T14sg.
2. Put it in a card slot on your computer.
3. Run "T14sgUpdate.exe" in the V 9.0 folder (ENGLISH) like pjwrite stated per the instructions, selecting the card slot on your computer. It copies files to the card in the Futaba ISO format.
4. Put it in the 14sg card slot.
5. Follow the rest of the update instructions for the transmitter update.
6. Do the same for the SOUND update to copy the files to the card, and put it in the 14sg. The update procedure is a little different when you turn on the TX.
