Zenoah G2d remote kill switch wiring help needed
I have a Zenoah G2D marine RC engine that I am attempting to install a DYNE1240 remote kill switch on. The engine is older (probably for the 90’s). The issue I am having is that the kill switch on the engine itself only has a black wire coming off the coil (Coil only has a black wire also outside of the spark plug wire) and the remotekit I have has 2 wires for the kill switch and two for the coil. The negative wire off of the coil splits to an ignition box and then also the boat kill switch. There is a postive wire of the ignition box that attaches to motor block. Is there a way to wire this appropriately?

the black wire from the kill switch harness can attach to anywhere on the engine. It merely serves as a ground. the red wire of the kill switch goes to what is usually the red wire of the coil. Since your wire is black you will just attach it to that. All the kill switch is doing is grounding the ignition with a relay.
