IX 12 Fades and Holds
I have been flying an Alchemy in pattern with and IX12 for the last 3 years. Never had and issue. About a month ago I started getting lockouts. I pulled up the telemetry screen and it shows between 900 and 1400 fades and at least 2 holds on every flight. My son and I tried moving the receiver and the antennas and everything else we could think of and nothing changed. As a last resort I tried flying my backup airframe with the same transmitter at a different field. Exactly the same thing. As a last resort I transferred my aircraft to my backup NW10 and the problem went away. Now I have been averaging between 5 and 10 fades and no holds. Has anyone had an issue with the IX12 like this that they were able to fix or have fixed. Or should I just run the transmitter over with my truck?

I don’t fly spektrum but have a mate who has had both and loved his 14 compared to the 12, apparently overall the 14 is better like with boot up times and features and just feels like a nicer radio when flying

Ix12 pay to ask
When did Horizen Hobbies start requiring a credit card number to ask a programming question about my IX12?
I want to know how to set up flaps on my IX12 with a 8020t receiver. Got t throttle and all control surfaces to work But flaps.
what am I doing wrong?

You can ask right here for free. I didn't hear we have a pay-to-ask going. All I know we do is free. Are you sure you e-mailed the right place?
What wing type do you have in the transmitter? Is "flaps" in the name? If not, start by selecting the correct wing type.
Once you have the correct wing type, you will see Flap System in the menu. This is where you specify flap positions based on the switch you select, as well as corresponding elevator positions and speed for moving them to new posotions.
