Waco For Sale, 1/4 scale, built from Barth kit
For sale…..
I’ve decided to sell the plane I’ve been working on for the past few years. It was built from a Peter Barth 1/4 scale kit. I bought the kit from Vogelsang Aeroscale. The kit is no longer available. The engine is a Saito R3-60 radial which has never been started. I bought it from Hobby Hobby on September 13th, 2021. The exhaust is a new Keleo ring unit. All servos are brand new Hitec D645 digital. The covering is Profi Cover 2, Fabric Iron-on Covering from Vogelsang. It is painted with Klasskote epoxy paint. It has working landing and navigation lights. It weighs just under 24 pounds dry with one LiFe 6.6v pack used to balance it perfectly. I was going to add a second battery pack. The wingspan is 90 inches.
$4200.
