Carlos,

I too am building one but I haven't gotten to equipment installation yet. The photos of Dag's plane on Jets of Norway and the photos of Ali's plane provided by Tomahawk give some good ideas.

How far into the build have you gotten? I have been slowed down by the absence of building instructionsand having to invest a lot of time repairing damage that occurred during shipping.

Have you been able to figure out what all the parts are? I am going to Jetpower next week solely to take a look at one to limit the guesswork.

Have you cut the air brakes yet?

Hi:

Thank you very much for the norway web, it is perfect.

Rob, I am buiding this model for another person. I have a lot of photos, but at the moment I no can show you here, sorry. If you want I can send you by email.

Now I have the canopy cutted in 2 pieces for make it operative with servos (not finish), the upstears cutted (for make operatives too, but not finish) the intakes are glued with the ducting, the nose door ready, the door hatch ready.

I hope this week finish the front fuselage and begin the back fuselage. The follow will be he airbrakes.

I am not sure what are all pieces, I look for the real model for compare pieces and to guess which is wich. I think that one kit of this price would be more advanced, if you compare with chinese kits and half price, they are best. Not good value for money.

Hi Carlos

I'm the owner and builder of the L-39 in [link=http://jetsofnorway.no/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=415]Jets of Norway[/link] forum page, glad you found my tread helpful.
If you have any question about the build, I can take more pictures and post here.

I still have some installation left before it's ready for maiden.

Regards Dag

Hi Dag:

Thank you very much, will be great your help too.

At the moment I will install the airbrakes and kero tank. I am working too in the open canopy and steps, but I go slow with this.

The photos in the norway forum are very good help.

I have this BIG model in y little work shop.

Hi Carlos

No I did not make the canopy scale, however I make it open by the original hatch.
I also insert extra supports to make it more stable I suspect that there is quite some stress on the canopy under flight due to it’s size. I did the same on my SM Viper and it worked very well.

Here is what I did, see pics:

I throw in some extra pics there for inspiration and motivation

Best regards Dag
