Diablo sorta a smaller Mephisto, but they are very different. The wing platform changed completely, aerofoil. Tail planes.
They look similar, but not in detail, the Diablo is more hardcore

I just ordered a Mephisto v2 and I'm wondering what tank / engine combo is the best. It appears CMJet has a very large tank and a Jetcat P300 pro is a good option. What do you guys recommend? I'm looking for an engine that has tons of power as I fly at 3000' MSL and can take the Gs and gyroscopic force abuse of 3d flying.

Thanks for sharing your perspective.

If money is no object then the Jetcat 350 Pro looks like a great option.

If you want to hover at 3000’ MSL, you may need more than a 300.

That very bent piece of copper goes into the clamp and through the hole in the pipe (that I have plugged with a bolt) for smoke. Has anyone used that setup? I have to disassemble to get into my car and put into a fuse bag so the traditional smoke pipe setup behind the turbine might get bent sticking out--but I'm not sure. Thoughts on the best way to do smoke? I think I will try it out at the end of summer or maybe a bit before so I have plenty of time.

Thank you. Did you crimp the end at all? Did you just use a Festo check valve? I need to split the fuse to transport it.

For those running a full powerbox set up on their mephisto what numbers do you have on the igyro sat for hovering?
I'm running a competition sr2, gps 111 with JR8911 servos
My normal flying set up is
Transmitter 25% gain, vector gain 0%
Gyro gain 75% (stock setting)
Attitude assist on (aileron only)
Characteristic Hard
Stick priority 100%
Lock in feel 25
Air speed factor 4

I like to get a 3D jet, trying to decide between Diablo or J10, have you flown both, what are the differences between both jets?

Fuel Bag works great and the weather is really nice this time of year until November or so.
