Lightbulb Electric actuators for custom retracts

Hi all,

i have a 1/4 FW-190 Sist to build and i want to design and make my own retracts. All these years i was designing my gear and used robart air cylinders and valves but today you know....
I have used JP hobby actuators on my zirolli mustang but i would prefer something more sturdy for this size of model. I have also used the robart electric system just before they announced the stop.
I cannot find anything that is destined for rc or anyway that could be easily used.
So, i am at the search of motors with a threaded axis and a controller. Not linear actuators.
I would appreciate any advice.
Thank you in advance,
Lawrence

I bought a set of these,, only got into the first set up stage, looking forward to putting them in a 5th scale Mustang soon

These operate just like a servo where you can adjust the endpoints with your TX

I bought these Hitec linear servos to retrofit the Robart actuators and air cylinders for my Byron T-28 and Jerry Bates Wildcat. My plan is to use a Futaba MSA-10 to control the linear servos. The MSA-10 allows the setting of direction and end point of the linear servos rather than relying on a controller to amp out. The amp out function sounds good but I have had several controllers that amped out before completely retracting the gear..

Pretty sure the hitecs above don't amp out, you have to set the end point just like a servo
