I'm wondering if anyone has found a good solution for after flight clean up of oil on aircraft airframe. I've tried windex and simple green as cleaners but still find that the oil still leaves a slight film after cleaning. I've found that these cleaners work even less affectively when the temperature is cooler as it is in fall. Any suggestions?

I want to keep my planes oil free and my cleaning procedure has been same for decades:

I use dishwashing liquid, random mixture, 5-10% maybe and soft paper towel. I have two towels in use, one to make most of cleaning followed by drying with the other. No oil residues. Some may say paper towel will make tiny scratches to surface but I don`t have any issues. Soft towel is the key.

Yes dishwasher liquid and 90 % water! Yes is a brand over here in Sweden.
