I never had a smoke system in my jets. But yesterday I made a "smoke maiden" :-)

I have reduced the individual gain for the elevator by 10% (set to 90) and my master gain is set to 40% (with gps and default speed compensation setting). In landing configuration or full flap fly-bys I have dialed the master gain up to 50%. I use the "soft" dampening. Hope that helps

Hi Dave
Yes you are correct. The reason for my question is that one friend is using Cortex and has about 30% gain. another friend just did the maiden and with ISat, he was getting wing rock at 8% and had to reduce to 6%. so i was wondering that if this is correct or it is a set-up issue.
Thank you.

Hey all MAX builders,
Just added lights to the wing, here are some photos with measurements and the light that I used. Pretty easy to cut into wing, nothing blocking the cut part and running the wiring down the wing
Tom
The lights I used for NAV/Strobe
how long I made the slit to slide in the heat sync, have to round off the aft end to make room for the resistor to push into wing
how far away from the trailing edge to beginning of the cut/slit

Behzad,
Just goes to show you how different each plane can be, even one made by CARF. I have 3 2S 5000mah in the nose cone with a 3800 3S LiFe for the turbine. Pictures in this thread. I've also put some sticky weights aft of the nose bulkhead/frame and slowly removed it as flights progressed. The nice thing about having all 4 batteries in the cone is its accessibility for charging. Simply remove the two bolts, slip off the cone and charge your batteries in a small "carrying case" aka nose cone. Suggest doing some dry fits and checking your CG before locking down where things are going to be placed.
