Default For sale: Goldberg Ultimate local pickup Acworth GA USA

Local pickup only. No shipping - please don't even ask.

Goldberg Ultimate biplane, built from downloaded plans from the original kit. Used balsa in fuselage, instead of lite-ply, so it is lighter than the original kitted plane. Weighs 9 lb, 6 oz with Saito 100. Saito 100 is too light, and I don't put lead in airplanes, so this needs a heavier 120 engine. I don't want to buy another engine. Saito 100 is NOT included!

I have built over 50 kits during the last 40 years. Covered in Ultracote. Cowl and wheel pants from Fiberglass Specialties, and clearcoated with very fuel-resistant clear System Three Topcoat. Landing gear from TNT landing gear. 12 oz fuel tank.

Includes:
Spektrum 6-channel receiver. Bind-n-fly with your Spektrum transmitter, which means no transmitter included
HS-645MG servo on pull-pull rudder
HS-545MG servo on pushrod elevator
HS-485MG servos on bottom ailerons. Top ailerons controlled with pushrods coming up from bottom ailerons
HS-82MG servo on throttle
Aluminum spinner

Bolt on a heavier engine, bind RX to your TX, and it is ready to fly. Has been taxied in my driveway, but not flown yet. I will remove the current Saito 100, when sold.

Can be seen at Cobb County RC field, with an appointment, or at my house in Acworth, GA

$500 (the wood alone was ~$400)

.
Please keep in mind that this is a For Sale ad, and NOT a discussion forum thread. General questions are ok, but make offers in a Private Message, and for gawd's sake, do not EVER post your contact info in an internet thread.

Default Biplane

You are a Master builder the kit was hard enough to build, but to scratch build one. Sweet looking. I had a YS 120 in the one I built plenty of power and the weight was just about perfect.
