Jet Power 2024
Just announced new organisers and venue for JetPower 2024.
A quick look on Google confirms it looks like a great venue, but maybe a bit light on accomodation and food in the immeadiate local area...
Back to the roots: JetPower 2024!
Good news for all friends of turbine model building: From 13. until the 15th September 2024, the international JetPower will take place at the magnificent airport of LSG Breitscheid-Haiger.
The site is centrally located in the middle of Germany, a good hour's drive from Frankfurt and cologne JetPower Event GmbH has, with kind permission from the publishing house MSV Medien Baden-Baden, transferred the rights to hold the fair to the organizers of the successful ProWing fair.
Special thanks to Walther Bednarz, Richard Deutsch and Stefan Rost.
It is planned to hold the fair again in the future as a pure fair for the jet and turbine model flight.
Andreas Engel, Werner Lewandowski and Peter Ritters are happy to be able to continue this traditional event.
Further information will be available shortly at www.jetpower.de

They are busy working on the Prowing show in April, same organisers. Once that is done they will finish the Web site.
Hotels are not like the other venues, you will have to travel a little further. Many European modellers camp, so hotels are not so important to them.
If anyone can’t find hotels email me at [email protected] and I’ll search out some more and email back details.

If You are on FaceBook, find the group AUFWIND Modellsportmagazin. lots of info there. Yes they closed now, I was there on Friday and lo and behold, I did NOT buy a new model... just small parts...OK, value enough to buy a model

Was there too. Quite a few planes, big, bigger, biggest. Well out of reach financially and logistically for many if not most modellers. Prices that go into the range of second hand sportsplanes. We see this in large gliders as well. Not all the EU countries have the possibility to fly over 25kg, or only with unrealistic things to be fulfilled. But the craftmanship and detailing of the scale jets is just breath-taking like a few MB339s. Plus were flown very realistic. So I look at it with mixed feelings.
