Looking good, can't wait to see it flying at the new weight. Make sure you video it.
Would it be possible to scan the oleo's from that Meteor manual and send me a copy please? It's just what I need to start making my retracts. My Meteor is next on the board :-)

Frank is a very skilled modeller.
Do the 70's have plenty of power? The one I am building is slightly smaller and I want to go with 2 x X60's.
Would it be possible to send me a high res picture of the nose and main undercarriage legs from the MK4 Meteor documentation you have please?
My lathe and mill have turned up and I want to start on my U/C legs.
Thanks

Phew took some time but here a new video of the Meteor with the P70`s, since last video just made 3 flight.
Due to a leaking pump, bad weather, holiday`s etc.
Performance with the K70`s is great, I think even a litter better than the P80`s.
But the biggest advantage is the throttle respons.
At the moment I take 4 liter fuel on board, I haven set my tank telemetry alarm at 2 liter used.
Most of the time I have flown about 7 or 8 minutes with this and I have about 1,5 to 2 liters left.
Will try next time with 3 liter of take off fuel, will again be just about 800 tot 900 grams lighter during take off.
Only during the start full power, rest of the flight just at or below 50% throttle.

Looks like it flies really well with the new engines.
I am more than confident that two X60’s will power mine now that I have seen yours on the 70’s.
I haven’t made any progress due to work, Hunter project and a new baby.
keep the videos and pictures coming.
