I used 1261’s on elevator and flaps, 1260’s everywhere else. They have been solid.

Hi!

I just bought a replacement Joker, I had lost mine several months ago in a ground roll incident. Mine flew so good I just needed to get a new one, and since I have all the equipment (except the thrust pipe) from the previous one, it made all the sense in the world to just get a replacement. Yet I truly did not like the Carf pipe, when I bought the replacement fuse, the pipe was not available, so I will just go ahead and install a conventional pipe, can any of you guys share the dimension from the rear former of the engine mount to the rear fuselage oulet?

Thanks

the bell size its 139 mm on my Joker / the exit pipe 90 mm
im sure like you previous Joker you need to ad some piece of plywood around the pipe at the end. for support .
very simple
BTW sorry for you loss ...I love mine

Thanks for this, but I may have not explained myself correctly, I need the distance from the rear engine mount former all the way to the end of the fuselage at the rear outlet, this so I can get the proper pipe length

Guys, my replacement Joker has arrived, I’m in the assembly process.
My previous Joker I got secondhad, so I did not assemble it, I’m the process of installing the stab servos, would like to know if anyone has used an alternate method to install the servos that will not warp the upper stab skin, any suggestions?

If you gently relieve the block to not be forced by the servo case, it won’t buckle the thin skin.

See post #812 above. I used MKS 747R servos which have horizontal mounting tabs.

Thought about that, I’m using the regular 747’s , MKS used to sell the flat “wing mount” upper cases separately which can be used to modify the regular 747’s, but not anymore, so cannot go that route unless I buy new servos

They are not a drop in fit. Much cutting and sanding was needed, and I didn't do as good as a job as F-1 did. The fuselage at the intakes needs touch up paint, this is unavoidable. You can see that F-1 added silver paint to LA Jet Guys intakes.

But they do look cool.
Hey,
I was just searching the web and saw your posts for your Joker build. I’m about to do some work on the turbine mounting “plates”. I think mine has similar misalignment issues as you found on yours. Did you still have your Joker?
Thanks

I think it is the one that i have, it looks the same…. carbon intakes, black tray with mmx connectirs. map air trap in nose. looks like new nosecone, some repairs on nosegear mount structure, looks like some hot start damage around turbine area. I just repaired the flap peel ply hinges that were pelling back significantly. it also has many holes in the turbine mounting plates… mks 747s and 2 promodeler on nose and rudder. ER30 retracts….

I’ll have to get a download from you on setup and it’s flight characteristics. my buddies jokers fly awesome.
I’m putting a K86 G5 in it.
