Default Os 32sx

I recently got my hands on 3 OS 32SX'S.
These things are awesome.
Piston-liner fit is excellent.
18.300 rpm, APC 8X7, 30%nitro, Enya 3, Weston UK pipe, rich setting. Plug looks brand new after 2 minutes full throttle.

These are really, really good engines.

Hi Rudeboy!

Yes those .32 SX engines are a great value.
How much does a gallon of 30% cost in Belgium these days...?

At the current exchange rate and converted from liters to gallons, about 37,5 usd for a gallon.

That's a pretty great price...!
I remember paying in the $30 dollar range for 30% nitro many years ago.
You are set for life with 3 of those engines.
A combo I liked was a OS.32 in a 20 sized House of Balsa brand P-51 Mustang kit..[with no landing gear of course].

I was thinking about a Messerschmitt 109 QM15 kit from Matney Models...

I just took a look at Matney Models and he has some great looking kits for great prices.
Are you sure the OS .32 would fit in the ME 109..?
If not, a F2D [2.5 cc control line combat] engine wouldn't be a bad back up plan. I've got a Zalp 2.5 and it will most likely outlast me with one thrilling run after another.

You may want to email Kevin prior to placing an order. Pretty sure I remember him posting somewhere that he was done with manufacturing.

One of the Scat-Cat's would move pretty nice with a good 32 and a pipe combination

I once had a Diamond Dust, built from plans. Webra 32 ABCD, dynamix carb, Jett muffler, APC 8X8.
Not the fastest plane, but man it was light and flew great. Still miss it (tx failure killed it).

I initially bought the engines to build a tri-motor Kyosho Calmato 40...but after the test stand runs? 2 of these is probably enough for a Calmato 🤣

If Kevin Matney is no longer in business, another super light Diamond Dust is an appealing thought.

Any stock EF1 (.35 class) 1200KV electric motor on 6s 2800MAH pack will turn 25K with an 8X6.............Love when those NOS diehards try to tweak the DD needles for just a wee bit more.......

Those prices did look too good to be true.

Don't get me wrong, I love electric drives for what they can do...but I will be flying circles around your EF-1 motor all day long.
Because it will be on the ground cooling, and charging batteries 🤣

I fly a lot, back to back flights are the norm. Can't do that with electrics, Not unless you are ok with your plane getting excessively heavy.
I have an electric and a nitro Outlaw: the nitro one just flies better because it's lighter. Sure the electric one has more power and is faster. It's also faster when it comes to landing 😉

I wonder how popular motor sports will be once they all become electric...?
How many people would go out of their way to visit a motor sports museum that had nothing but electric motors to look at...?
