I found this on thingiverse and printed it over the weekend on a lark. It was a great fit and seriously reduced the amount of grass inside my Rebel. Whomever designed it has my thanks.Tone
Folks, can you please post up your interior layouts. I’ll be getting my plane in a month or two depending on shipping container availability. I’m pretty sure I have all the goodies to go in it. But it helps looking at other folks installs. Also helps in planning my install.

Ken….I’ve been trying to upload a photo re your request, and have just been able to do so. This is how I did my setup on my Rebel Pro.

I´m thinking about ordering a Rebel Pro. I know that the recommended engine range is from 180 N to 210 N but I certainly don’t need an engine in the upper range. My style of flying is gentle and taking use of dynamic energy in all manoeuvres and I generally think that many of our RC-jets are monstrously over powered. I also fly from a generous grass field.
I have a Kingtech 140 N G2 lying around and I wonder if that would be enough for a Rebel Pro?
Has any of you flown a Rebel Pro with a smaller engine than the recommended 180 N? And if so, what are your experiences?

I don’t imagine many if any have flown with a smaller engine than a 180. The smallest I can see get used would be a 170. I plan on using a Swiwin 190 and have been told the plane flies well with a 190.
Consider this, the average finished build comes in at 43lbs. The Kingtech 140 produces 32lbs thrust. The Kingtech 180 produces 35lbs thrust. The Swiwin 190 that I plan on is at 41. Swiwin 220 is at 48lbs.
Low power needs a very efficient wing and light wing loading. Possible, probably… enjoyable… not likely.
One must always consider altitude. You can lose 20% at 3000 ft. If you're at sea level, a 210 might be great. If you're at 3500 ft. MSL, you may want a 230ish in there.
Well I bit the bullet and order a Rebel Pro. I have most of what I am going to run with figured out but the servos. Any suggestions for servos that have enough torque and fit easily?

You're welcome! :-). Glad to see people are using the file.
Now… Smoke… never installed on a jet before and the last smoke system I installed was 18 years ago. The Rebel Pro is ideal for a smoke system. What did you folks do for smoke tank, pump and tubing to feed it back to the engine? All the info you can provide is appreciated.
This area in front of the engine is where the smoke system will go.
Got my Rebel Pro done and flew it this last weekend and yesterday. What a great plane..

It's a 3D printed part that is found higher in this thread, I believe. Someone came up with it and it's amazing and keeps the grass out of your fuse. Post #292 found on thingverse.

sorry I wasn’t clear. I thought I saw a purple 3d printed part on the right main gear strut in the photo?
I saw the nose gear cover and already downloaded that file, thank you for, pointing that out.
