Default JP Gear with Xicoy LG15

I have a new Global Aerojet F15 inbound. I haven't had much luck with the JP controllers with gear doors or brakes. I want to use an Xicoy LG15 controller. What amp settings have you guys been using to prevent smoking the gear motors? Thanks

I can only find this one…it was for my t-1 his answer….

The retract of our ER-150 start max current is about 1.2A. the working current is about 0.8A.

Thanks guys. Gary Jones gave me his settings and with these I may be able to keep the smoke in. I think the T1 gear will be similar size and settings.

Here is what I sent Tom from my testing with amp meter on the F-16 XL gear.

I set these values into the LGC-15 and they seemed to work OK. The problem I had was the brakes needed more voltage to stop the jet and as I recall the LGC-15 was limited to 2S LiPo. So I switched to a different brake controller.

Gear times and amps for JP F-16XL gear.

JP (Shaun) says 1.8 amps for the F-16 gear from an FB response.

Here's the max values I saw when I tested the gear

RMG 13 sec 1.4 amps
LMG 13 sec 1.4 amps
NG 9 sec .8 amps

I just used TLAR to set the unload time, I don't remember what value I used but it just unloaded the jack screws a little.

The LGC can use up to 3s for gears and brakes. However, it shares a power connection so you cannot run 2s to the gear and 3s to the brakes.

I think my JP gear controller was limited to 2S printed on the case. That's why I was using 2S for brakes at first.
Can the JP gear motors run on 3S LiPo?

How do you slow down the servos on the gear doors. Is it possible on the LGC13C.?

Hello

Someone has the current values for a JP120 set? I would like to replace the "burned" controller of my rebel hot for a xicoy LGG22 but i have no idea about the correct limit current values for those.

Regards,
Jose

I wrote a mail to Shane and got a reply, the stop current of the ER-120 retract is 1.0A
