Default Replacing old servos

I have an old model of a Miles Hawk that has JR servos in it and currently uses a 4.8 V Rx battery. I would like to replace the Servos and use a 6V Rx battery.
Please let me know what you think would be direct replacements or what might be better for this aircraft (74" span low wing monoplane with 61 size 4 stroke engine)
I use a Spektrum Dx6E Transmitter and will probably get a newer Spektrum Rx (probably the AR 630 or 631) as well as the servos.
The existing servos are:
JR-537 (could work with 6V) so might keep
JR-507
Savox SC-0252 MG (think this is newer and could work with 6V so again may just keep it)

Great resource for all servos, all specs: https://servodatabase.com/

Based on what it says there, I'd replace the 507: https://servodatabase.com/servo/jr/507

There's no reason other than that to replace the servos. If they're good, keep them.

For a 74" plane I recommend not using a receiver we designed for parkflyer-type models. Use an AR637T bare minimum. If it were my model, it would have an SPM9747 remote receiver in there too. The reason for this recommendation is that you need to keep the antenna(s) having a clear view of the transmitter. The engine, battery, muffler, and fuel tank are not your friends. You need multiple antennas/receivers to make sure those things don't cast an RF shadow.

Hi Andy and thanks for your advice. The existing receiver is a Spektrum AR6200 (DSM2) with a JR EA101 (remote receiver) attached so your point about RF shadow is very valid. What current Spektrum servos do you suggest to replace the 507's?

I'm not a servo guy. Anything that fits in the hole will be overkill for power - modern servos are SO much better than the older types, even basic/standard ones.

I would find something that fits the hole, then go to the database and make sure it has at least as much torque/speed as the 507.

Andy
I think that the nearest match in terms of dimensions would be the Spektrum A6390. Its cheap and cheerful and as you say it fits the hole!
The A6180 also seems to be the same size but I cannot find any to purchase (perhaps its no longer available).
