Tranny on Overdrive ST
Some how I lost the set screw that determined the shift point for the 2 speed trans. Went out and bought another screw, but what is the original factory setting? I don't know this because I am not the original buyer of this car, and I don't have the manual for the car. Also I would be much appreciated if someone could tell me if I could stick the 2.5ci engine on my overdrive?[>:][8D] Thanks for the help.

RE: Tranny on Overdrive ST
Today I took it out to a big open truck ramp and ran it full speed in second gear. That truck is faster then most touring I see! I'm not joking! Keep in mind its using the bigger version engine from the street force GP which does 50+. I love this truck. Today I must of flipped it atleast 4 times. This truck can go through hell. It takes anything on! I had it for 1 year and I didn't go easy on it. I never broke a part and I'm beginning to think I never will. The whole thing is practically aluminum so what is there to break? A lot of people think duratrax sucks but maby their other cars/trucks do but not the Overdrive. So its fast and durable but thats not all. This truck has amazing handling and grip. I can take onroad corners on at high speed and not lose control and I'm riding on spikes! So as you can see I think the Overdrive ST kicks *****

Cool - was looking at either the Overdrive ST or MBX Pro for my 7 year old. Trying to decide. I am leaning more toward the OFNA Buggy... But want to hear more about the Overdrive as well.

well chances are your 7 year old will be crashing alot so you want durability. I don't know much about the MBX Pro...except its expensive. Well its your decision and I'm saying the Overdrive ST can stand up to everything.....even 8 foot jumps. So if you want any more information, just ask.

Chassis, upper deck, shock towers and shock bodies and the only major parts that are plastic are the lower suspension arms and upper suspension arms but thats stock. You can get upper and lower arms in aluminum too. Once you maxx out the truck with the options (which arn't expensive), the diff case, reciver case, spur gears and reversing tranny case are the only plastic parts. Im shure somewhere out there theres a metal spur gear. The truck is fairly simple and thats what I like about it. Take it to a track and it will smoke the compitition.
