Flying Weasle

I Have the Piccolo fun and bought a Hacko Brushless motor. I also bought a ESC for the Hacko. I bought the High Authority Tail motor but wasn't told i needed a ESC for it. Do i need one?
Here is the prob. I have it set up like the following schem on helihobby.com
When i hook up the brushless motor i get full power with no control. When i connect the power wire i get squat. If i hook up the stock motor, everything runs fine.
I can't seem to get the brushless motor to cooperate. Anyone had this prob or know what i can do to remedy it?

I have no idea about the Piccolo, but you can try contacting the manufacturer of the motor. They should be able to help.

Well, i just figured it out. You have to swap the control leads from the tail and the main motor to get it to work. And you have to connect the red power wire from the ESC. Works now.
