FEDA Dragonfly landing gear replacement/mod
Does anyone else think the landing gear/battery tray arrangement on the FEDA is crappy?
First "hard drop" I experienced resulted in one of the vertical struts punching through the base of the chasis.
Thsi is due to it "spearing" the chassis when it touches down.. bad engineering. A "bow" type arrangement would be MUCH stronger and require fewer attachment points.
I think I need to tool something like THAT.
Has anyone else done this? Are there any current retail mods beside the G10 frame that accomplishes this?
I was even thinking of even buying a "toy" heli at Walmart and scavenging the landing gear.
