Battery Help
I'm definitely a newbie, and I'm looking at buying an RC10 Factory Team Build T3 w/ 10 turn double modified motor w/ a GT7 ESC. My question is, what will the difference be between running a NiCD and NiMH? I can't seem to find any advantages other than no memory with the NiMH? Also, what runtimes can I expect with various packs? TIA.

RE: Battery Help
The info I have may be a bit outdated because I have not kept up with the latest on the electirc packs.
With that said, Nicads have more punch and in general can provide more consistant voltage than Nihm. Nicads also tend to slowly dump while Nihm drop off quickly.
New Nihm technology may be better now and the packs may perform better, I have noticed that most of the electric racers I run across like the Nimh 3000's.
I suggest you hop on over to the battery forum, I doubt you would even need to post, just do a search and you should find a plethora of data.
Like I said my info is probably outdated but since nobody has repsonded, I thought I would.
