Default how much epoxy resin to fiberglass?

How much epoxy resin would it take to fiberglass a 85" wingspan jack devine gee bee z? I am using 3/4 oz cloth and want to use west systems epoxy. Would a quart of the material be enough?

A quart is plenty... the idea is to use the least amount possible. I would quess that I would use about 3-4 oz per each side of wing to wet out the cloth at most... and scrap most of that back off with a credit card. I would also thin it with denatured alcohol so that it spreads easier and thinner. Good luck... West is best!

A quart would be enough to do the fuselage as well?

The standard ratio for hand layups is "50/50". You can reduce this by vacuum bagging.

Double your wing area, because you'll be covering both sides.
Whatever weight your cloth is, that's the weight (oz) of resin.

Example, for one square yard coverage, using .75 oz. cloth:

1296 sq. inches of cloth = .75 oz. of resin. (total weight added = 1.5 oz. per sq. yd., plus primer and paint) For more info, see http://www.nextcraft.com/weightprediction.html
