Default Ganging servos

Here is an arrangement I used for dual rudder servos in my Funtana. Pulleys can be used as an alternative to bellcranks for equalising ganged servos. Pulleys are made from 0,8mm pcb material and alu shieve. Line is 1,5 mm kevlar.

Very clever. The throw from each each servo is averaged out, right? So no matter what, both elevator halves will have the same throw as long as the horns are set up identically on the control surfaces. I really like the way you did this.

Umm... one thing I don't like though is servos mounted sideways to the direction of force. They don't seem as stable like that so I always try to mount them so the long axis of the servo is more or less parallel to the direction of force.

Brilliant.
I've seen a number of ganged servo setups, but none that addressed the possibility of differential servo throws so simply.
