I was thinking about tinting the canopy for my new plane, but a few people on the A/C forum suggested talking to the car guys about an aerosol tinting that is used for car bodies. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Yes, your LHS should carry an aerasol can of window tint for models.

if u have an airbrush, the bottled window tint is much better. If not, the rattle can version still works, just takes some practice, and u cant spray it over any other paint, it will bleed through. It is made by Pactra. A great way to test its efficency is to cut a 2 liter soda bottle in half, and practice on that a few times before spraying your canopy. It costs about 4 bucks for a can.
