Great Planes Patty with YS140 ??
I am a great fan of the Patty Wagstaff extra 300, from Great Planes..
But will it fly with a YS140 ?? It does not have to do "prophanging" just good flying
Or does someone now an 300s ARF for this engine, (with a Patty Wagstaff design ??)
Thanks, and greetings from Holland !!

IT WILL FLY ON THE 140 YOU HAVE BUT NOT TO MUCH FUN WITH THAT SMALL A ENGINE ON IT . IF YOU WANT A CHEAP BUT VERY VERY GOOD RUNNING ENGINE LOOK AT MDS 2.18 . I RUN 2 OF THEM NEVER HAD A DEAD STICK . A FRIEND HAS A FUGI 50[:'(] ON HIS IT WILL ALMOST HOVER IT . I RUN A ZDZ 60 ON MINE GREAT COMBO. THE MAIN PROBLEM WITH RUNNING A SMALL ENGINE ON THE PLANE IS THE CG. WITH A DA 50 YOU HAVE TO RUN A PULL PULL ON THE RUDDER . AND I WOULD SAY WITH THE 140 2 POUNDS OF LEAD ON THE BOX. IF YOU HAVE TO HAVE A FOUR STROKE OS 300 OR SATIO 300 BOTH $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $

If you fly that plane with a YS140 and an 18x6 propeller, your vertical will be almost unlimited. You will love that combination unless you are going to do 3D maneuvers.

Yep - I converted mine BACK to glow - with an OS 1.60. Probably very similar power to the YS, and it flies terrifically! Won't hover, but I don't, so no loss. Flies very realistically, and have NO balance issues. OF course, I mounted a pull pull rudder setup, otherwise box stock. Works just fine.
The YS 140 will be lighter than the OS because of the muffler/mount situation...so you may have to add some box lead...but maybe not.
