Goldberg Tiger 60 ARF fly with 46?
If you have the Goldberg Tiger 60 ARF, do you think it would fly with a 46? I'm looking for an ARF to break in Heli engines in the 46-61 range. It doesn't need to have much performance with the 46 size engines. It just needs to get off the ground and fly around a little to break in the engine.
So........those of you that have a Tiger 60 ARF, what do you think? What does this plane actually end up weighing?
Thanks,
"Nobody"

really?
I heard that a .46 will give the TIGER II (.46) very limited vertical.
Well, actually, the .60 is only about 8 inches longer in wingspan.

I could easily fly mine at 1/4 to 1/2 throttle to I am pretty sure a .46 heli engine will pull it. You might have a problem because most heli engines to not come with a prop thrust washer but I bet nobody already knows that.

RE: Goldberg Tiger 60 ARF fly with 46?
I flew the original Tiger with a 40FP. The Tiger II is about the same size. It was my second plane and first low-wing.
It flew "Scale". No speed deamon, but a great flying plane.
Then converted it to twin .25's. Lots of fun, but would not fly on one engine. Lost it on low, slow, inverted pass when one engine quit .
It will be a great plane to break in the engines. With a 46, it will fly real nice, but not like most over-powered planes of today.

i flew the sig four star 60 with a .46 and it flew very well. the tiger .60 with a good .46
like the fx should flys well , but dont expect 3d .save some weight with lite wheels and r/c , but i think it will come tail heavy and you will have to add nose weight.
