Default 4mm tubing

I need some new 4mm tubing for a Ram 750F for the air, Fuel and propane lines to the turbine. I found some 5/32 dia. where I live and other than the colors it looks to be the same. I have checked it with digital dial calipers and it checks the same in every way. It says that it is made of polyurethane. Is there any reason not to use it?

Thanks!

Default RE: 4mm tubing

I've done it more times than I can count and its never been a problem. Given that the tubing is very flexible, It would be pretty hard to determine which was which with a caliper. The Festo fittings seal with an O-ring that is more than capable of covering the 0.03mm change in diameter.

Short answer, go for it. So long as the material properties are the same, you should be fine.
