AC Charger Suggestions for Hornet
I purchased a Schweizer 300C Micro Heli (aka Hornet) from Hobby Lobby, The kit comes with a charger for the onboard battery pack, but it charges my flight pack from another DC 12 volt battery, Tired of charging the DC 12 volt every time, anyone have any suggestions on whats a good AC charger for the hornet micro heli's flight pack?

I think a regular ac/dc wall adaptor rated at 12v is the cheapest and easiest way.
For a 7cell 8.4v nimh Hummingbird pack the one that comes standard is 250 mA, It charges in about 2hrs.
What I did, and it works great, is bought a 500 mA 12V DC (output) ac/dc transformer and installed 2 Battery clips on it. I can charge
2 packs at the same time. If you double the load you must double the current. If you do like I did you must always charge 2 packs at the same time or else you will be running too much current through the one pack . I still do it nevertheless but never for more than about 1/2 an hour and when Im done draining th next pack I pop it in right away.
I bought the ac/dc adaptor at a local electronics store for $5 Canadain, thats about 3 or 4 bucks US, and I just cut off the jack it had and soldered on the clip for my battery. I know most people like to use JST or deans connectors or stuff of that sort but the cheapest thing at the electronics store was 9V battery terminals, so thats what I use for my heli, packs and charger. at 35 cents a pop ( thats Canadian cents again) its dirt cheap.
