Default Primer over latex poly

Has anyone used a lacquer or enamel primer over latex poly? I want to use the same paint, so that I have a high gloss. I am curious about the poly's acceptance of other types of finishes.

Haven't shot it over latex, but I shoot lacquer primer over waterbased PolyCrylic all the time. I shoot latex over both of them, but not the other way around. When in doubt, do a test
