Default Roto Start one way bearing repair idea.

I used Great Planes silver solder to attach the two pieces together on both sides. It is a really strong joint, and turns the engine over just fine, just hope it holds up under the heat. I think it will, because the bearing should never feel the full 275 deg. engine temp. (I'm not sure what the melting point of silver solder is) If someone wants to try it, just make sure you file off the extra solder that may build up around the hex, flush out the bearing, and re oil. I've attached a picture of the repaired bearing. Notice the crack in the hex adapter.

No, it doesn't spin freely anyway. You solder the hex to the bearing. The 2 pieces are press fitted together, kinda making 1 piece. By the way, it ended up failing after about a week anyway. It held long enough to get a new one. HPI sent it for free.
