Default Bearings?

How can I tell if my bearings have gone bad. My RS4 3 is making some nasty sounds. And I cant find out whats making it. It sounds like a grinding sound and when I let go of the gas it turns to the left. Any help would be great. Thanks

Default RE: Bearings?

Well if its a bearing.. it must be in horrible shape if its gonna pull your car to one side!!
Sometimes the inner ring of your bearing will go into an eccentric orbit inside your outer ring if there is enough "play".

This picture isnt that good but maybe it'll help:

This problem may occur on at certain RPM ranges too.

Just an eccentric idea
