Hi Don,
As I have said to Steve, I would love to go to your jet rally as well. I have to finalise things and check cost etc, but will let you know. Like I said to Steve, can you post in "C17A 'Globemaster III' . . . .BGC !!! " and send me an email to give me details of the event.
Cheers,
Davie

Hey Davie,
I was a paratrooper years ago with the 82nd airborne division and alway thought it would make a very impressive model of a C-141 or C-17. What a cool site it would be to have 100 or so GI Joes jumping out on a low fly by. Did you design the plans yourself and if so what cad program you used to design your C-17. I am currently designing a 1/6 scale B-17 and the program that I use makes the design process go very fast. I would like to get a set of your plan or like to know where you got them. Also does your plane have a functioning tailgate?
Mike

You can see more on http://homepage.eircom.net/~skycam/c17.htm and I will be spending the Christmas break (two weeks off work) on it getting it ready for the big test flight.

This is the most amazing thing I have seen! Hell, its obvious that you dont need the money, but the Discovery Network would have paid to document this up to the big flying day. WOW, unbelievable!
