Lanier Edge 540T ARF or Hanger 9 Cap 232 ARF???
I was wondering what is the better aircraft. Hanger 9 Cap 232 30% or Lanier 540T ARF 30%. The Lanier costs about 150 less, but doesn't seem to have the same quality hardware that the Hanger 9 Cap 30% does. I will be putting a 3w-78 Twin on the plane and will be doing 3d. I have heard that Lanier's ARFs can have a less than desirable covering job with low quality film. has anyone had any experiences with the new 30% Edge 540T?? Thanks!

Don't know where you got your info but the Lanier Edge has all Sulivan and Dubro hardware and covered in Ultracote. I have one with a ZDZ 60 with about 80 flights on it and the only thing that's been fixed is two lose screws.

I second that fact that Lanier is nothing but quallity American Hardware and ultracoat for covering i havent even had to tighten my ultracote up on the lanier Have around 50 flights on it now . Bruce

Hey I appreciate guys. Its nice to here differing opinions. Yeah the guy I had talked to actually said that the covering was not satisfactory on the Laser, not the new 540T. it may have been an isolated incident too. Thanks fo the info.

I have seen the Edge 540 fly and I have flown the pilots other plane. SO this is an indirect comparison. His other plane (GP Giant Extra) flies as good as good as the Lanier Stadacher which I have flown. He says that the Edge is the best plane he has ever own. So indirectly I would say that the Edge is one of Lanier's better offerings.
