Four Star 60 gear
I am finding the stock landing gear for my kit four star 60 a bit under par. I was wondering if any of you could point me in the direction of a nice high quality after merket gear for this kit?

RE: Four Star 60 gear
Hello; I built a wire gear for my 4 star 60, I wanted to try a bigger prop so I had to jack it up a bit. It's nothing special, I mount it to the fuse in front of the wing with cut up pieces of an old fuel bottle. At the back I have loops of fuel bottle with holes that fit over the wing bolts. I have been flying off that gear for a few years now, no problems.

RE: Four Star 60 gear
I put retracts in my 4*60... problem solved.
You can reinforce the stock LG with a piece of 1/8 or 5/16 music wire. Bend to match the front of the dural. Drill some 1/8 inch holes, and strap it on with 1/32 brass. (be sure everything is TIGHT! or you create an RF source)
The music wire along the front of the dural essentially adds no drag. Weight is small (and the 4*60 can handle a fair amount of ballast)
