RE: Bevel gears??
I would stick with what came stock.I've heard stories of guys trying the Ofna ones and tearing all the teeth off of them in an hour. The stock HPI ones are hardened and should last a very long time if properly cared for and set up.Ofna does make hardened ones but I don't think those are them.

RE: Bevel gears??
I think those are the hardend ones from Ofna and I think they will work but i'd go with the stock ones just to be sure. It's alot of work tearing the truck apart and putting it back together just to have to do it all over agin because the diff blew.I see no reason why HPI would stop selling the diff gears. They have 2 versions of the truck out that use the same gears so I think they'll keep selling them.

RE: Bevel gears??
You may have to do like I did.. hit up ebay and see if you can find the complete diff. I got one for like 30 bucks shipped so now my truck is running again plus I have spare parts incase I need them.
