Jabo (dragonfly) rc electric
Hey guys, need a little help. I can not tell if my heli is working right. It wants to go hard left when it lifts off. I have adjusted everything I know. My tail rotor also seems like it is not functioning properly. It does not spin once the main rotor is spinning. Not sure what to do at this point having a lot of trouble holding a steady hoover. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi,
when the heli is facing away from you is the left strut longer? If not then that's what is causing it to go hard left. Other than that is it similar to the hummingbird?

have you tried setting the setup and gain on your gyro, you should turn the pot(little screw) on the setup with the heli on a desk or something, turn it until both lights read and green are flickering, then rotate it left or right and make sure the light stays a solid color while you are rotating it, then you'll need to adjust your gain, I usually put it right at 50% (parallel with the ground) and go up or down from there...hope this helps....

Hey , I can not figure out were the gyro is. I have a little black box that has a circuit board but there are no screws to turn. This box is located inside the helicopter.
Is there any were else I should look?
Thanks for your help

Sounds like you have a all in one gyro/mixer/rx/esc pcb version, is it like this:
If so theres no adjustments for the gyro!

Banished Outside
Perhaps you can help me.
I have a FEDA Dragonfly with the combo board. My instructions say that the LED should turn green, but mine only flashes then turns solid red. Everything seems to work correctly though (I've flown it that way). What is your experience with this board? Should the LED turn green? If it doesn't what does that indicate? Should I get the seller to replace the PCB, servos, etc. I've had some emails with the seller in Hong Kong and they suggested taking it to my LHS for trobleshooting. I'm not sure how receptive my LHS would be to TS something they didn't sell or if they even have any experience with this PCB.
Thanks,
Walt

Wacachu2,
Yep, same as you mine flashes red at power up then stays red there after. I believe that to be normal.

The LCD on my Feda DF flashes between red and green when first connected and then stays green once initialized. It stays that way until the battery starts to fade and then starts to intermittently flash to red and then all red when just about run down. I think it is a low voltage indicator that is designed to tell you that it's time to land. The LED I'm talking about is on the mixer board (seperate).

RE: Jabo (dragonfly) rc electric
There seems to be some differences on the avionics setup on different Dragonflies.
Mine has the all-in-one board and has only a red led.
Apparently it has to stay on when ready to fly since I've seen several Dragonfly, Hummingbird, Jabo and other Helis on video and they all show a red led while flying!
Regards,
Rayan.

Hi Banished Outside
I don't know those all in one board's LED look like so I not sure... but if you say dual colored LED should not have 2 lead only... well... not true.
Dual Color LED can have either 3 Leads or 2 leads. For 3 Leads, the extra lead is for the other color. For 2 Leads Colored LED, you get different color by supply opposite polarity.

Hi guys, the DF with the all in one board has only one red led, that is on while the chopper is ready to fly, but only if the transmiter TX is on. On the other hand, the GWS DF has two led (green/red)
