Default Feda Dragonfly Siim Software?

Hi All,

I am new to heli's, I got a Feda Dragonfly direct from China, when it came it had a transmitter to pc com lead but no software.
The transmitter is a Zhen Hua PCM-4CH (with a port on the back), I have tried the FMS simulator, but cannot get it working!

I cannot get funding for more software authorised by my financial director (wife).
As anyone had success with this software / tx combination?

If so what settings in FMS?

ps I'm running a 1GHz laptop with XP.

Cheers
Steve

Here is the link to the SIM software that ships with the FEDA:

The version that actually ships with the Heli has more features, but this should get you running.

One note, though:
If you are running XP, you'll need to move to a SERIAL connector instead of the Parallel.

You buy the serial cable adapter for your model transmitter. There are also USB adapter cables.
I see them both on Ebay all the time.

Check these post for setting up the FMS with Zhen Hua remote. I've got it worked with Win98, and I am trying to do it with WinXP (Other had successfully set up with XP). Hope this helps.

I've got it worked with both Win98 and WinXp. I had problem with WinXP because the serial port was used by my HotSync Manager (Palm software). Therefore, be sure that free serial port before open PPJoy Virtual Port, select Zhen Hua, minimize PPJoy, and then FMS. Select Control in FMS, and select Analog Controls. Calebrate and enjoy. Hope this would help.
