What is your method of mounting a removeable radio mast that is located behind the canopy. I think I remember reading someone use a ball-link?? Would like to have it removeable because I am such a klutz!

I've never tried it, but what about using something like a speaker jack? You know, a male and female connector that "locks" into place.

That way you could leave it mounted while flying if you wanted.

Hi DB,
Ya, never thought of a miniature speaker jack.
Will have to look around Rado Shack and see what they have.
Thanks

My buddy who puts 300+ hours into rubber powered scale models, makes antenna masts out of silicone rubber in a mold. Flexible enough to leave in place permanently. Jeff Troy did the same thing on his Twin Comanches.
