Fuel proofing the edges of Monokote
Monokote (or whatever kote) does'nt seem to be very fuel proof.
The fuel and exhaust always seems to work it's way into the seams of my older models. I've had some success sealing it back with thin CA. But, for a new model, anybody got any good ideas for sealing the seams so that the fuel does'nt penetrate?

Actually, its the cleaning solvents we use to remove the gunk from the plane dissolving the Monokote adhesive... Fuel doesn't bother it. (change cleaners)
You can seal the edges with a coat of clear Lusterkote. Spray a bit in the can top and applyy to the seam using a camel hair or other fine, soft brush. Nail polish works too.
