.15 fe leak need help
MINE DOES THE SAME THING! I just bought a new HPI RS4 and every day there is a little fuel puddle around the engine. I clean it off and it just keeps coming.the main leak seems to be in the little space under the gearbox next to the engine. I will take it to the hobby shop tommorow and let you know how it goes.

.15fe
I'm gonna tell you this. In order to fix the leak take out the glow plug. Dismount your engine from the chassis. Then drop a brand new fantom in there. End of story.
I HATE THE .15fe with a vengence. though it is one of the most reliable engines I've ever owned, just weak!

.15 fe leak need help
Yeah i bought an NMT for my anniversary as a gift to my wife. It turned into mine since she never goes bashing with me. THEY DO TAKE QUITE A BIT OF ABUSE. The .15fe is one of those engines you got to keep wound out on the top end to get any (and i use this term lightly) "power" out of it. Mine hasn't leaked though. It's a great one pull engine though.

RE: .15 fe leak need help
Hey man you guys are all haters on the .15FE. But seriously, that engine is very strong and powerful, IF YOU HAVE MAINTAINED IT CORRECTLY!! And when I mean maintained correctly I mean no leaning out, I run my car at about 3 turns out factory setting, but now I decided to make 3-1/4, becasue I would like to have my engine running, so I let it stay rich. When I first got the enigne I raced my friends .12ss and he spanked me, but no after 2 gallons of fuel, my car runs so fast and starts up perfectly. The trick for the .15FE is to maintain it properly, and once you hit the bottom of the second gallon of the fuel tank, you will appreciate what the engine can do, my car runs so fast now at 3-1/4 turn, and I know some of you people run your car at about 2-1/2 turns, and you probably make half of the power my car is making, if I turned my car to 2-1/2 turns, my car would be a freakin bullet, but then my car will over-heat, I would damage the engine from overleaning, and I will probably seize the engine. SO what I am basically saying is that with proper care and maintanecne the .15FE makes loads of power, more than it will have at the end of the first gallon of fuel, and that is where you guys usually stop and buy a new engine.
R/C car engines are sort of like real car engines, you have to break them in form more than 4-5 tanks of fuel, I stoped breaking my engine in on the 10th tank. Anyway when you buy a new car and decide to florr it, obviously their would be engine damgae, same as in the these R/C car engines
