Engine Revs, car slow, Help!
Hi all,
Just getting into the world of rc cars, just brought a pure 10 gp ford focus, 4WD, GX12 pull start engine from my mate for £20!!!
Anyway i need help, took it out for a spin the other day and now it wont go, well the engine runs fine but its moves slowly at high rpm, ive tried turning the fly wheel and all four wheels turn but then seem to disengage, same goes for if i turn one of the wheels, all four may turn sometimes but then they stop turning, i try again and the same happens.
After reading through this site i think it could be the rear diff (stripped teeth?) or the slipper clutch (not to sure what it is), gonna check it over tomorrow.
Can anyone suggest some possible causes? Have i given engough info for ya?
