as I told you..it wont fry your pcb! it just will turn it into chicken wing just like what you said..kakaka..(just kidding) I got no problem at all using 3 cells Li-Po with my hummingboard for this couple months( about 3 months, 10 flights each day). I dont know how will it work with an aerohwak!

3 cell li-po will eventually fry the aerohawk board i know this from personal experience Iv'e gone through 2 and have mow switched to the new gws all in one mixer board and so far so good iv'e run 7 packs through it and it's still going strong also the cost is alot less than the aerohawk board

helisfreak,
What batteries are you using?
The gy240 is an awesome HH gyro. But it is a brick. A HEAVY brick. If you are not on 3 cell LiPos you may not have enough RPM to get it in the air.

take the case off the 240 to lighten it up and you'll be golden! i had a 240 on my voyager then went with the 410 they are the best gyros out IMO

I am using 10.8 Li-ion battery and after frying my controller board once before I use a 5amp quick fuse between the battery and the motor. It really works...
