Tail rotor only spins when push right

Tail rotor only spins when push right
I see 2 possibilities as to why the tail rotor only starts spinning when I push the left stick to the left.
a) Something is messed up on my heli
b) Because pushing it to the left stops the tail rotor thus causing it to yaw CCW which is expected. Pushing the stick to the right causes the RPM in the tail rotor to increase thus causing the heli to yaw right.
I'm hoping the answer is b. Is it?
BTW, yes I am new to this. I have an Aerohawk.

I assume u are refering to when your chopper is in ground level or your main motor is idle...If so, yup.. .that is normal and correct.
