I am building the "OLD" TF red box Corsair. The wood is not that good and is not an easy to build plane. I have heard that the newer GOLD one is lots better and is easy to build and fly.

The Gold has fewer parts and I'm sure is easyer to build. This plane is very elevator sensitive.
Be sure to start out in the recomended range. Also overpower it. Two stroke go ST .90 or OS1.08.
Four stroke go Saito 1.20. Use Sullivan all steel goldenrod for the elevator. My stick time was on the old one
maybe the new one is better. The old one would tip stall if you tried to take off or land at a low speed.
If this is your first warbird the TF P-47 is a much easyer plane to fly. later daveo
