Default New Kangke Monocoupe PICS

Should make a good match for my Saito 170 Radial

Check out the RCU review. The reviewer used a radial engine in his model and it flew very well (in the video). I have the Rearwin Speedster and it is a very nicely built plane. I powered mine with a Roto 35 gasser. Since they are the same size you could easily go with gas for this plane and save a ton of money on fuel.

A gasser would work well in this plane but I bought it specifically as a home for my Saito 170 Radial, the same one used in the RCU test and also by Dick Pettit in his RC Reports test. I just think that beautiful cowl deserves to have a radial in it.

Thanks for the input.

hey meesh! Nice looking plane. You should bring it up to greenland sometime when it's done. I have always had a soft spot for round motors!

BTW: You still interested in a tour of the hangar?

Here's mine, with and without cowl.

Excellent power and sound!

BTW, it's "available" (no engine though. I have plans for it)

I got a full set for mine from CajunRC a few months ago. They gave me nice outlined wing & vertical rudder numbers and the "The Monocoupe" lettering for the vertical fin and "MMM" logos after the rear side windows. Came to $60 - good deal in my opinion for vinyl with this quality.

BTW...RCS 1.80 Gasers work great in the 'Coupe.

Hi Dick.

I have the same engine for mine. BTW, my wife would like to thank you. It's because of your write up in RC Reports that I went out and bought this baby! LOL!

"Another plane?" she said.

I told her it was your fault.
