Default BV F100 builders take a look at these.

I found this at the local hobby shop the other day. Comes with a very detailed nomenclature set. I am replacing the fins with some thiner plastic.
Retail is only $12.99

Are they actual working rockets or missiles?

Someone winds you up, you fire a rocket at them.

You guys stole my idea!!

I purchased a pair of Estes rockets last weekend, it turns out that with minor mods, you can turn them into AIM-9's. They are very lightweight and they come in all sizes. I will make a tool out of balsa to lay the fins straight (this is critical).

I also purchased some smoke ritters for my F-16, and will add an Estes rocket tip to make it look like a real Smoker Sidewinder. Rocket tips sell for like $3 a piece.

Comare the price of these rockets to the original Y/A, BVM ordenance.

Im glad you guys noticed this. I am not alone now.[8D]

Couple those with a few of Paul Bageman's working Snakeeyes and you've got yourself one heavily armed fightin machine.

Laura,
You could make these working rockets, but Im just using it for non functioning purposes. It looks like perfect scale to hang underneath wings for this particular airplane.
Estes also makes smart bomb and cluster bombs you could hang from your airplane.

Just for your info the Estes AGM 12D is 1/8 scale according to my calcs. There are different variations of the Bull Pup. I believe BV's F-100D/F is 1/6.7 scale. The Bull Pup needs to be 18" long. The Este is a little small at 15.6" in length.

Basically it looks cool so who cares if it is a little small.
At least thats what the wife says.
